My Mom Pauline Cena is in your Los Lenones house in FV and I couldn’t be more blessed to have her there. She is also very happy when she isn’t confused, but at almost 92 she’s doing very well. Below are my answers to your questionnaire. The payment is automatic, so I don’t snail mail.
Yes, you may add my name to your reference list.
The facility interior is always immaculate and Mom is always spotless and looks like she was just bathed no matter what time I arrive. The exterior is always groomed and clean. Thank you for taking out the higher bushes outside her window as she now has a better view of the street.
Adel and Nina are the very best. Mom loves Adel and always says what a nice young man he is. My Mom can be very demanding and requires a lot of patience especially when she is awake during the night. Adel has the patience of a saint. I have been traveling a lot with work and haven’t been able to visit as often as I would like (I am the only family member in So Cal), and it is so comforting to know that she is so well loved and cared for. I don’t know what I would do if it weren’t for your excellent facilities.
Thank you again,
Dear Usha and Michael,
Trust you, Al and your family are doing well.
Just sending this e-mail to you, as I’m not sure if you were informed that my mom, Emma, was taken by ambulance to Saddleback Memorial Hospital Emergency on Sunday, July 26th, complaining of “ chest pain and difficulty in breathing”. I truly very appreciate the timely manner in which your DeSalle House caregiver responded to her expressed and demonstrated distress by calling 911 and or ambulance, and then calling to inform me of the same. It really meant so much to me that it was done, and I feel great comfort in knowing that such a response will be initiated again if it becomes necessary in the future. Thank you.
Please also note thereafter, upon my arrival that Sunday at Saddleback Emergency, I was able to sit with my mom and speak with the attending physician, Dr. Munden. Dr. Munden advised x-rays had been taken and a blood analysis conducted prior to my arrival, and diagnosed her with having contracted “Community Acquired Pneumonia”, prescribed antibiotics, and discharged her as being able to return to the DeSalle Home. I forwarded her discharge papers to Rebecca as requested by house staff.
As recently as this past Wednesday, July 29th, I sat with Mom at the DeSalle home. I was very happy to find her in excellent spirits, breathing unlabored, and not complaining of pain or discomfort, as well as the staff confirming she is eating and sleeping well and taking the antibiotics as prescribed. Such a feeling of relief to see her recovering so well so quickly. Needless to say, it allayed my concerns. A nurse will be following up with her, as directed and arranged by her assigned Primary Care doctor
Again, the timely actions of your staff were greatly appreciated in addressing my mom’s health issues that Sunday. She is my sunshine! And I love her beyond words can express.
Thank you, Sincerely,
